MARCH CLUB NIGHT … workshop on the April Exhibition (see below).
If you have already prepared your entry, please bring it with you. If you haven’t and would like help in choosing an exhibition image from your library, bring a selection of images along on a hard drive or in your laptop to get help and advice about it all.
April 5 – 9 in the Wanaka Hotel
THIS MEANS YOU! If you haven’t already entered but you have a pic or two which you’re pleased with, let the world see! Why not? You can enter up to five images (click HERE for entry form) and it would be appreciated if you could bring your entry/entries along to the next club night (Monday 13th March) to be registered.
EXHIBITION
Here’s what you need to know….to make the exhibition easier to hang and smarter to look at ALL images must be prints - ie not framed or on canvas - set in an A3 mat size. If you want to borrow a mat from the club, your image should be A4 size. If you are arranging your own mat, your image may be any size at all but the mat must be A3 - 11.7”x16.5”. Mats sized 12” x 16” are OK too.
Tony Lynch at 45th Degree in Ballantyne Rd will do custom sized mats.
Framing on Line does a very good job of standard size mats. $12 each. Click HERE
The exhibition will be judged by landscape photographer Andris Apse. He will give an illustrated talk at 5pm, Wednesday 5th April in the Festival of Colour’s Crystal Palace before opening our exhibition next door in the hotel.
